Welcome To The Auction!

Our friend and colleague, Sunday, has been diagnosed with a rare and aggressive brain tumor... her best chance is ridiculously expensive surgery and care in california. We raised over $100k in 48 hours on YouCaring.com, but need $300k to cover all the costs.

If you'd like to donate straight cash, there are many options:

There is a LIVE event at the Waverley Hotel in Cumberland on Saturday, Jan 10, 7pm.

And another LIVE event on Quadra Island on Sunday, Jan 18 630pm

Why are we doing this?

Sunday has been diagnosed with a very aggressive brain tumor requiring immediate medical attention and surgery. Based on test results there is a high probability that she has a high grade Glioma, a fast growing, aggressive form of brain cancer otherwise known as Glioblastoma.

There are very limited resources in Canada for treating such tumors. However, she and her family have been presented with an incredible opportunity to have treatment in the US and be part of a funded cancer treatment trial at UCLA that offers her the best hope for a positive outcome. However, in order to access this free trial opportunity she will also need to have her surgery in the US. The costs are significant.

As of the day this auction starts, Sunday and Jason are en route to UCLA to start treatment, thanks in no small part to the generosity of their friends and family - and total strangers who were compelled by the story.
